CLOVIS, NM 88101
Clovis is centrally located on the High Plains of Eastern New Mexico at an elevation of 4,280 feet. The climate is ideal with an average temperature of 57 degrees and average rainfall of 17 inches. The high altitude and dry air makes for pleasant days and cool nights. The sun shines an average of 355 days.
My Note: Although most winters are mild, expect several winter nights in the teens and a couple of snowfalls 2-3” which usually melt off the next day. Also expect windy days in late spring and cool summer nights and low summer humidity*.
